oh and in other news
my dad talked to the vet today, and since he is now aware we can’t afford the surgery, he said we could keep the dog on the steroids. He might gain more weight, and could cause some slight skin issues, but if it makes him feel better he has no problem keeping him on them and he’s going to keep evaluating~ him.
I’m so happy rn I thought we were definitely going to have to put him...

So my dog has bulging discs. He’s a five year old yorkshire terrier, and the surgery to help him costs $5,000. He’s gone through two rounds of steroids to try to make things better, but it hasn’t.
